This is an exceptional avant garde 2 piece outfit from Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto. The jacket has giant metal grommets or eyelets, and can be closed in various ways with the separate sash.

The long skirt is asymmetrical with a built in buckle that hooks at the waist, and built-in sash that ties the grommets together.

Each piece is a fashion statement, and they can be worn together or they would make just as big of an impact when worn separately!

This outfit is so incredible in person and the photographs don't really do it justice! We have shown an image of the jacket (but with pants) on the runway at Yamamoto's Spring 2004 show. We estimate the outfit to fit a modern day US women's size small/medium.

The top is in excellent condition. The skirt is in very good condition with some very small repairs near the top. Not noticeable when worn.
